The midfield marksman, Andrew Gaff, made his debut for the Eagles in 2011, coming off the bench during their season opener against North Melbourne. Recruited from the Oakleigh Chargers as a fourth-round pick in the 2010 National Draft, Gaff is the third player in Eagles history to wear the number 3 jumper after Chris Mainwaring and Chris Judd.

During a successful first season with the Eagles, Gaff was nominated for the 2011 Round 19 AFL Rising Star Award and he continued to shine the following season booting 9 Goals for the West Coast. He has since progressed to becoming one of the best midfielders in the league and in 2015 kicked 11 goals for the season making a whopping 738 disposals. He was then named in the 2015 All-Australian team winning the John Worsfold Medal that year and again made the 2018 All-Australian team but missed out on the 2018 finals due to suspension.

Gaff is certainly one of the Eagles’ high flyers making an average of 24 disposals per game and taking approximately 5 marks per game. He’ll be hoping to push on and help the Eagles reach greater heights after renewing his contract at the start of the 2019 season.
